If you have been hurt – or if you are feeling ‘feeling sorry for yourself’, do not let guilt tell you it is wrong to feel that way. When you allow yourself to feel your own sorrow, or whatever emotions arise, you release yourself from the shock of your experience.
Denial keeps the shock in place – which prevents healing.
FEEL your emotions fully and let them move through and out of your body, without aiming them at others. This is a major part of the healing process.
